Manchester Social Centre is about bringing people power back to the city. There is no board of directors or business jargon, we just want a space in the city where you’re not expected to spend to participate. You can get involved by volunteering in the space or by getting involved with organising by joining a working group.
As a non-profit organisation we depend upon the work of volunteers and willing contributors who share our vision. There are many tasks that need undertaking to keep Subrosa going, but by getting involved, you will be joining a network of people passionate about the community and the values of mutual aid and autonomy.
Subrosa is run entirely by volunteers, if you are interested in helping out in the space and doing a shift behind the counter please get in touch! You don’t need any special skills – helping out can be a great way to learn new things (in particular about vegan cakes!) & meet new people. If you are interested please fill in our volunteer form or email us your name, contact details and availability to volunteers[at]manchestersocialcentre.org.uk,
